Breakwater Sailing Center Introduction to Racing Course.
Two evenings to choose from:
Saturday, February 10th, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Or
Saturday, March 2nd, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
This is a land-based course taught in a classroom setting. Breakwater's Introduction to Racing Course will teach you what you need to know to get started in sailboat racing. Some topics to be covered include: the racing rules, understanding the race course, starting, racing fundamentals, and basic racing tactics. This is the perfect course for those looking to gain a basic knowledge of racing or for those returning to the sport looking for a refresher.
